External AV input Scart 2 (EXT2):

External AV input Scart 2 (EXT2)

This enables the selection of the type of video recorder to be

connected to the number 2 scart socket. The S-Video option

sets up the television for Super VHS, the AV option sets the

television for standard video recorders.

Press the * (or ™) button to

select the required input signal

for Scart 2 (EXT2).

Viewing a wide screen broadcast in

Aspect

Normal (4:3) mode, or a normal

broadcast in Wide screen (16:9) mode

Press the MENU button to

will change the aspect ratio.

select between 4:3 and 16:9

whilst watching a normal TV

accurate time display appear

in the top right corner of the

screen. ie 6.25 and 52 seconds

p.m. which will disappear alter

a few seconds.
