L O A D I N G T H E B A T T E R I E S
Two size "AA" dry batteries are provided as accessories.
They are used to retain the station presetting memory
f u n c t i o n s .
B e f o r e u s i n g t h e u n i t , d i s c o n n e c t t h e p o w e r c o r d a n d l o a d
the batteries into the compartment on the rear panel as
f o l l o w s :

Battery Precautions:
lf batteries are incorrectly used. they may leak or even
break open inside the battery holder. Observe the following
p r e c a u t i o n s w h e n i n s e r t i n g a n d r e p l a c i n g t h e b a t t e r i e s .

2. Do not use new batteries and partly used batteries at

There are rechargeable dry cell batteries and non-
rechargeable dry cell batteries. Always read the notes on
the battery to be sure which kind you have.
When replacing the batteries, always use the same type
