ANTENNA CONNECTIONS
Radio reception is not possible unless the antenna is
properly connected.
The strength of broadcast signals varies from one area to another. Signal
propagation is especially poor in metropolitan areas, where there are
many
tall buildings,
and
in mountainous
areas.
Proper
antenna
installation is vital to good reception.

FM Antenna Attachment
Connect the accessory FM antenna to the FM terminals. Extend the
antenna out to its full, and affix it to a wall, etc.
External FM antenna installation
Use an external antenna when the signals from the station are weak
and cannot be picked up by the accessory FM antenna, or when the
sound heard is accompanied by large amounts of noise
If the FM antenna terminal is a PAL terminal, then connect es shown
in figure @.
If the FM antenna terminal is not a PAL terminal, then connect as in
figure @ if using a 75 © coaxial cable.
Fixation de l'antenne FM
Connecter I'antenne FM accessoire aux bornes FM. Déployer a fond
Vantenne et la fixer & un mur, etc.
Installation d'une antenne externe FM
Utiliser une antenne extérieure lorsque les signaux provenant de la
station sont faibles et ne peuvent étre captés par l'antenne FM
accessoire ou lorsque !e son entendu est accompagné de beaucoup de
bruit.
Si la borne de I'antenne FM est une borne PAL, brancher corsmme illustré
sur la figure @.
Si la borne de l'antenne FM n'est pas une borne PAL, brancher comme
itustré sur la figure @, avec un cable coaxial de 75 ohms.
