Placing
the speakers
Where youput yourspeakel_ i n theroomhasa big
effecton the quality ofthe sound. The following
guidelines should help you to get the best sound fi'om
your system.

The subwooferca1 be placed on the flooe Ideally,
the other speakersshould be at about eaMevelwhen
you're listening to them. Putting the speakerson the
floor (exceptthe subwoofe0, or mounting them ve¢
high on a wall is not recommended.
•
For the best stereoeffect,place the fi'ontspeakers 2-
3m (6-9ft.) apart.
•
The rear speakersshould not be further away fi'om
your listening position thau the front speakers.
•
The center speaker should be as close as possibleto
the *1_ screen so tha mmie dialog is localizedproperly.
