CONNECTION
WITH
A
STEREO
AMPLIFIER
Connect
the
positive
(+) output
terminal
of
your amplifier
with the
positive
(+) input
terminal
of
the
CS-88A and the
negative
to
negative.
Do
noi
reverse these
polarities.
LEAD
WIRES
FROM
THE
AMPLIFIER
LEVEL CONTROL
ADJUSTMENT
First set the tone control
knobs
of
your
amplifier
to
FLAT
position, and
the
loudness
switch OFF. Then
set
the
level controls
of
the
CS-88A
to
the
position
that
gives
you the tone quality you like
best.
There
are
two
level controls, one
for
the
mid-range
and
one
for the
highs. Setting
the two
controls
to
INCREASE
position
will
provide standard
flat
response.
Setting
the
mid-range
control
to
NORMAL position
will
damp
the
mid-range
about 1.5 dB;
setting
it to
DECREASE
will
damp
it
about
3
dB. Setting the high
range
control
to
NORMAL
will
provide
a
response
with the
high
end
damped
about
2
dB, and setting
it to
DECREASE
will
damp
the
highs
about 4
dB.
