Easy Installation

Attach antennas
Attach both antennas to connectors on rear panel.
Connect Ethernet devices
Plug up to three Ethernet devices into the rear ports on the
HotPoint 1000S.
Important
Use Ethernet crossover cables to connect
end devices such as computers, wireless
access points, network printers, and
video cameras. Use Ethernet straight-
through cables to connect multi-user
switches and hubs.
Add power
Connect HotPoint unit to AC power source. Also, start up all
connected Ethernet devices.
The HotPoint power-up sequence is as follows
1. Green Power LED continuously ON
2. Red Fault LED momentarily ON, then continuously OFF
3. Green Activity LED, fl ashes during LAN activity
