Installation

N.B. The kit can be used solely in electronic controllers with dedicated wire.

• Disconnect the electric supply to the HIU and to the prepayment external control unit;

• Open the code 789835 box removing the two closing screws;

• Loosen the free gland;

• Make the dedicated wire from the electronic controller of the HIU (identified by the label

shown in the picture below) to pass through the gland;

• Connect the wire according to the instructions in the "electrical connections" paragraph.

• Screw the gland;

• Close the code 789835 box by means of the screws that have previously been removed

and apply the anti-tampering labels in a position useful for the purpose;

• The box can be fixed on the side of the electronic controller by means of the adhesive

velcro; make sure that neither the cables, nor the prepayment kit box touch hot

components of the HIU;

• Pass the cable provided with the 789835 kit through one of the holes on the HIU frame

then proceed with connecting the cable provided with the code 789835 kit to the

external unit that manages the prepayment service;

• Reconnect the electric supply to the devices and check that the HIU works correctly.
