As the strings get old, sound quality will gradually decrease, and it will become
difficult to tune the instrument. Change the strings as soon as you think they are
getting old.
Make sure you purchase a set of nylon guitar strings. The Silent Guitar uses a
string length of 650mm (25-9/16 inch).
•. The.end.of.the.strings.are.sharp.and.can.cut.fingers..Use.caution.when.changing.strings.
•. When.changing.or.adjusting.strings,.do.not.put.your.face.close.to.the.instrument..The.string.may.sud-
denly.break.resulting.in.eye.or.other.unexpected.injuries.
•. The.pickup.sensor.is.set.into.the.bridge.underneath.the.saddle..When.changing.strings,.please.change.
them.one.at.a.time.to.prevent.the.saddle.or.pickup.from.moving.
. If.the.saddle.is.removed,.make.sure.that.the.sensor.does.not.get.moved..When.attaching.the.saddle,.
make.sure.that.the.saddle's.lowest.end.is.positioned.under.the.first.string.

Thread the string through the corresponding string hole on the bridge, then tie the string as shown in
the illustration below.
After tying the knot, pull both ends of the string to make the knot firm on the bridge.

Next, tie the strings to the pegs.
Hold the guitar so the head is facing you and wind the strings onto the pegs as shown in the illustra-
tion below.
