Fixed Flow Submersible or Inline Pumps do not require lubrication or any special

maintenance. The following general maintenance and cleaning steps will improve the pump' s

performance and life.

1. Turn off the power supply, move the pump to a dry location.

2. Loosen the screws from the impeller cover; remove the impeller cover from the pump body

by lightly shaking the unit.

3. Pull the rotor assembly away from the pump body.

4. Wash parts with fresh water carefully.

5. Reattach the rotor to the pump body carefully after cleaning; make sure the 2 holes on the

impeller base and the 2 dowels on the pump body ﬁt together for proper assembly.

6. Turn the rotor by hand, the rotor should move freely.

7. Check the "O" ring of the pump body.

8. Replace the impeller cover on the pump body and tighten the stainless steel screws.
