DISCONNECTING THE AIR SUPPLY
Do not disconnect the air supply hose until the air supply has been shut down
and the compressed air released.
1. Refer to the compressor instruction manual for the procedure to shut down
and release the compressed air.
2. Once the pressure has been released, disconnect the air supply hose from
the air tool.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE STAPLER IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE
AIR SUPPLY BEFORE STARTING ANY CLEANING OR MAINTENANCE
PROCEDURES.
DAILY
1. Before use, drain water from the compressed air supply.
2. Check and clean, if fitted, the air inlet gauze filter.
3. A bottle of CLARKE Air Line Oil** is supplied with the kit. Squirt a few drops of
oil approx. 3cc), into the air inlet.
4. This should be carried out regardless of whether or not an air line lubricator
is used.
5. Use a clean dry cloth or brush to keep the stapler/nailer clean and free of
dirt. Do not use solvent or alcohol based cleaners as they could damage
the casing.
6. The use of parts other than CLARKE replacement parts may result in safely
hazards, decreased tool performance and will invalidate your warranty.
DURING USE
For lubricating the internal components when in operation, an air line
lubricator should be used, with Clarke Air Line Oil**, adjusted to 2 drops per
minute.
If an air line lubricator is NOT used, this procedure should be repeated after
every two to three hours of use.
STORAGE
If the stapler is to be stored, or is idle for longer than 24 hours, run a few drops
of Clarke Air Line Oil** into the air inlet before storing.
