CLAS OE 3010 Handbuch
OE 3010
PRESENTATION
The tester is a visual and audio tester for testing DC and AC voltage, continuity.
• live wire/ neutral wire identi cation
• a function for initial diagnosis of 3omA differential circuit breakers (RCDs)
• indication of phase rotation direction (2-wires method)
It has the following advantages:
• High level of electrical safety. The lighting and automatic AC/DC detection protect the operator
from a wide range of interpretation errors.
• Mechanical robustness.
• Electronic protection up to 6ooV rms for continuity test when the circuit under test is live.
• High level of protection of the casing: IP 54
• Disconnectable red test probe and black test lead
• Centre distance of 19 mm (distance between the two poles).
INSTRUCTIONS
Preparation Prior to Use
Connect the red test probe to the " + " jack and the black test lead to the " COM " jack. Touch the two probes
together while pressing and holding down the continuity test key. If the built-in buzzer sounds and the red continuity
indicator LED lights up, the battery is good. If the red continuity indicator LED lights dimly or does not light up, the
battery is low and should be replaced. If the problem remains after you replace battery, the tester is damaged.
Note: Only if there is battery installed can you perform this test.
AC/DC voltage test
1. Connect the red test probe to the " + " jack and the black test lead to the " COM " jack.
2. Connect the two test probes across the circuit to be tested.
3. The presence of a voltage on the circuit activates the voltage detection LEDs; and the
built-in buzzer will sound if the voltage is greater than 5oV.
4. The voltage level of the circuit is indicated by the last LED lit ( 12V, 24V, 5oV, 127V, 230V,
400V or 690V)
If none of the LEDs turns on, it means that there is no voltage or the voltage is less than 10V.
5. Both the " + " and " - " LEDs will light up if the measured voltage is ac voltage.
If the voltage is dc voltage, either the " + " LED or the " - " LED will light up to indicate the polarity of the red test
probe connection.
When you test a dc 12V voltage and the red test probe is connected to the negative terminal of the circuit under
test, only the " - " LED will light up.)
Note:
1. The tester can be used to measure voltage without battery installed, but the buzzer will not sound.
2. Measurement duration must not exceed 30 secs, and interval between measurements must be more than 4 minutes.
