Continuous C ontroller ( CC) 9 9 w ill s et t he D PC-‐4EZ r eceive c hannel. T he v alue o f t he

command r eceived w ill s et t he M IDI c hannel. T he D isaster A rea D MC G en2 a nd D PC-‐

5 c ontrollers w ill s end t his c ommand a t b oot. C onnect t he D MC o r D PC M IDI O UT t o

the D PC-‐4EZ M IDI I N w ith a s tandard M IDI c able. P ower o n t he D PC-‐4EZ w hile

holding B utton 1 , t hen p ower o n t he D MC o r D PC c ontroller. T he D PC-‐4EZ w ill

configure i tself a nd t hen f lash t o i ndicate i ts s tatus.

sending i s e nabled, M IDI c ommands w ill b e s ent w hen s electing a p reset, t urning

loops o n a nd o ff, o r e nabling t he m ute. I f M IDI s ending i s d isabled, t he D PC-‐4EZ M IDI

input a nd o utput s till f unction, b ut t he o utput o nly s erves a s a M IDI " thru," t o p ass

data f rom t he i nput t o t he o utput. D isable M IDI s ending i f y ou a re u sing a m aster

MIDI c ontroller w ith t he D PC-‐4EZ.

Reset P resets a nd C onfiguration

Hold B uttons 4 + 1 t o r eset a ll p arameters t o t heir d efaults. T his w ill a lso o verwrite

all p resets.

Hold B uttons 2 + 1 t o e nter f irmware u pdate m ode. I n t his m ode t he D PC-‐4EZ w ill

operate a s a U SB s erial p ort f or f irmware u pdate.
