4. Disconnect factory 16-pin XM radio plug (See Fig. 4) from radio (See

Fig. 3). To disconnect, pull back blue locking tab, then press and pull

black tab to release plug. (See Fig. 4)

Warning: GM radios have multiple 16-pin connectors "keyed" to avoid

connecting errors. The 16-pin plug included is "Keyed" to fit only the XM

connector on factory radio (See Fig.3)

When disconnecting factory plug, do not pull wires. Grasp plug to

remove.

5. Connect factory 16-pin plug to adapter harness 16-pin connector

(See Fig. 5)

6. Connect adapter 16-pin plug to radio cavity vacated in step 4

7. Carefully route audio jack (See Fig. 6) to a location on dash or nearby

panel where it will be mounted (within 4 ft). Final install location varies

by vehicle and customer's preference.

8. Optional: Drill a ¼" hole in dash or panel. Push jack threated shaft

through hole and secure with nut (See Fig. 7)
