AUTO/BUZZ/ON/OFF

switch not set to ON.

Volume control at

minimum position.

AM–Interference from

traffic.

FM–Antenna Wire

not extended.

Batteries dead or weak. Replace batteries;

AC adapter not

connected properly.

Battery not inserted.

AUTO/BUZZ/ON/OFF

switch not set to AUTO switch to the AUTO or

or BUZZ.

Volume is set to

minimum.

POSSIBLE

SOLUTION

Set AUTO/BUZZ/ON/OFF

switch to ON.

Increase the volume.

Turn the radio for

better AM reception.

Extend Antenna Wire.

Check connection.

Insert battery for clock

to operate; see page 7.

Set AUTO/BUZZ/ON/OFF

BUZZ position as desired.

Make sure the volume is

not set to minimum.
