LONG TERM SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE
If you will be shutting down your ProJet 6000/7000 system for an extended period, we recommend to do the following:
HOME THE ELEVATOR
1. At the bottom of the touch screen, tap the Advanced button.
2. Tap the Elevator/Leveler button to open the Elevator/Leveler screen
3. Tap the Home button to home the elevator.
4. Wait for the elevator to complete the homing process.
DISCONNECT THE MATERIAL LINE TO THE PRINT TRAY
We recommend that you disconnect the material line from the print tray to prevent back flow of material into the cart. This
could lead to the reservoir of the cart becoming over filled and causing a material leak from the top of the reservoir lid.
1. Open the Build Chamber and Cart doors.
2. While wearing Nitrile gloves, remove the cart hose from the print tray by depressing the quick-release button and
disengaging the connector from the print tray. Resin may drip out of this connector, be sure to have a towel handy.
3. Connect the hose to the free connector on the material cart. Eliminate slack by wrapping it around the grooved
component on the umbilical connector.
