Introduction
Before you start to install the Dual Switch Module and put the device into operation, please read this operating
manual through to the end, especially the section on safety instructions.

Product description
With the Dual Digital switching module, direct and alternating current consumers with a capacity of up to 10A
continuous current can be switched. It is also possible to control motors, such as roller shutter drives.
The switch module can be controlled directly by an external switch (e.g. light switch) or by a switch on the top of
the module, also independently of the 1-Wire interface. For this switching function by push-button, it is sufficient if
the 12V supply voltage is applied. This ensures extremely high reliability, e.g. for switching lights, socket circuits or
other important consumers, even if a central control unit/software fails.
The installed high-performance relays can be operated in a special power saving mode to reduce the power
consumption. This can reduce the current consumption of the two output relays by approx. 40 %.
To supply the switching module we recommend the use of one of our 1-Wire Hub modules.

Energy-saving mode
The Dual Switching Module has a modern energy saving mode for the output relays. The energy saving mode
can be switched on or off via key 1 (module top side). The energy saving mode is deactivated at delivery. The
selected setting remains permanently stored, even after a power interruption. Depending on the function, quiet
noises may be audible with active output relays in energy saving mode. If these are disturbing, e.g. when
operating in the living room, you should switch to normal mode.
