1. If an uplink connection to the WAN or another switch is desired, then connect the
10/100/1000 Mbps combo port 26 (denoted by "C" in the above figure) to a switch or
router through an Ethernet cable or through a fiber cable using Mini-GBIC SFP
connector.
2. Port 25 (denoted by "B" in the above figure) is an out of band 10/100/1000 Mbps
downlink port used for management purposes among other things.
3. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to port 24 (denoted by "A" in the above figure) of
the switch. Connect the other end to the Ethernet port on the computer that will be used
to configure the switch.
4. Plug the 3-prong grounded male plug into an AC outlet (100-240V, 47 to 63 HZ) and the
other end (3-pin Shroud male connector) into the power receptacle on 2402LFPoE
denoted by "E" in the above figure.
