For smaller rivet nuts, please observe the gauge while closing the handles.

Stop applying more power on the handles when the decrease in the distance

on the gauge approaches the calculated working stroke. Slightly press the handles

within a 1mm working stroke until the rivet nut is secure in the hole.

For larger rivet nuts, it is not necessary to observe the working stroke in the gauge

during riveting. If the rivet nut is loose in the hole after the first compression,

open the handle, turn the knob clockwise to bring the riveter closer to the rivet nut,

and close the handles until the rivet nut is secure in the hole. Repeat as necessary

until the rivet nut is firmly in place.

Turn the knob counter-clockwise to unscrew the riveter mandrel from inside the rivet nut.

The rivet nut installation is complete if the rivet is secure and immovable in the hole.

It is possible to use the internal thread of the rivet nut to fix other sheets or objects into the hole.
