Trillo 3PN can be used to signal phone and door bell
call simultaneously.
Signalling sounds are different so to differentiate if the
incoming call arrives from the phone or from the door
bell; door bell call signalling sound is an octave higher
than the one of the phone call.
Signalling sound selection, made by mean of
microswitch setting, is relative to sound modulation
and is common for both phone and door bell calls.
Due to the high power of the acoustic signalling,
microswitch pole 1 allows to set an incremental
volume for the acoustic signalling.

Otherwise power will be constant from the first ring. If
the device in installed near person pass, it's
suggested to set the incremental volume.
Test button simulate an incoming phone call, so to
ease the volume and modulation setting; to simulate a
door beel call, it's enough to short circuit the voltage
free terminals.
If phone and door bell calls should overlap, will be
notified the call that is arrived firstly after the "off"
condition (release of door bell button or pause/end of
phone call).
The device allows the simultaneously use of voltage
free and AC/DC inputs, being adviced that each input
will generate the same type of signalling so it won't be
possible to differentiate among the inputs.
It's recommended to set the microswitch pole 2 to
OFF
only
when connected to a LB phone or whether
the default setting doesn't allow to recognize the
incoming call ringing signal. The "LB" setting increase
the frequency range recognition of the incoming
ringing tone and, in case of noise on the telephone
line, could lead to fake signalling.
