When the transmitter turns "on", the screen light turns-on for 5 seconds.
I
When the receiver turns "on", you hear an audible low-to-hi "beep" tone.
Follow the same procedure to turn "off" the receiver and the transmitter. The
I
receiver will make a hi-to-low "beep" tone when turned off. Turning your
system "off" will help to preserve the battery life.
If one of the batteries is not charged, neither of the units will turn "on".
I
We recommend turning the system "off" when not in use.

Charging the Transmitter and Receiver Batteries
Both the transmitter and receiver use a rechargeable lithium polymer battery.
I
Both units should be fully charged before use. We recommend recharging
your batteries on a regular basis or after each use.
It takes approximately 3-4 hours to fully charge a battery. With typical
•
use, the charge should last up to 48 hours.
For battery replacement information, see page 19.
•
To charge the transmitter and/or the receiver, insert the
I
power adaptor plug into the charging port.
When the transmitter and receiver are charging, the
•
battery icons remain "on". A protection circuit prevents
overcharging.
When charging is complete, the battery icons disappear.
•
When plugged-in, check the battery charge status by aligning the "on/off"
•
markers. If a battery is still charging, a battery icon will appear. If there is
no battery icon, the battery is charged. If both batteries are fully
charged, the transmitter and the receiver will turn "on" (low-to-high beep)
when the "on/off" markers are aligned.
A "Y" connector is included so the transmitter and the receiver can be
•
charged at the same time.
