ASSEMBLY
1. Connect   t he   b ench   b ack   a nd   b ench   s eat.   L ay   t he   b ench   s eat   o n   t he   g round   a nd   i nsert   b ench   b ack   i nto   p osition.    
 
 
 
 
 
a. Align   t he   h oles   a t   t he   b ottom   o f   t he   b ench   b ack   w ith   t he   h oles   i n   t he   b ack   o f   t he   b ench   s eat.   O nce   h oles  
are   a ligned,   i nsert   a   3   ½ "   c arriage   b olt   f rom   i nside   o ut   i n   e ach   h ole.   N OTE:   D O   N OT   S ET   C ARRIAGE   B OLT  
OR   S ECURE   W ITH   L OCKING   N UT.   T HIS   S TEP   I S   T O   J UST   H OLD   T HESE   T WO   P IECES   T OGETHER   A ND   I N  
PLACE   F OR   N EXT   S TEP.  
 
2. Attach   t he   a rm   r est   t o   t he   b ench   s eat   a nd   t he   b ench   b ack.    
a. Use   t he   b ox   t he   p roduct   w as   s hipped   i n   a nd   l ocate   t he   l eft   a rm   r est,   r ight   a rm   r est,   2   p ieces   4   ½ "  
carriage   b olt,   a nd   2   p ieces   3   ½ "   c arriage   b olt.    
b. Place   t he   b ox   t he   p roduct   w as   s hipped   i n   o n   i ts   s ide,   t hen   p lace   t he   a ttached   b ench   b ack   a nd   b ench   s eat  
on   t op,   a s   s hown   b elow.   S tabilize   t he   b ox   s o   i t   d oesn't   f all   o ver,   d amage   t he   p roduct   o r   c ause   i njury.    
c. Take   t he   l eft   a rm   r est   a nd   i nsert   a   3   ½ "   c arriage   b olt   i n   t he   f ront   l eg   o f   t he    
arm   r est   a nd   a   4   ½ "   c arriage   b olt   i n   t he   b ack   l eg   o f   t he   a rm   r est.   D O   N OT  
push   t hem   a ll   t he   w ay   t hrough.   I nstead,   i nsert   t hem   s o   t hey   a re   s howing  
on   t he   o pposite   s ide   o f   t he   w ood.   S ee   p hoto   a t   r ight.    
 
3. Align   t he   b olts   w ith   t he   p re-­‐drilled   h oles   o n   t he   l eft   s ide   o f   t he   c hair   s eat.  
a. Note:     T he   b olt   i n   t he   b ack   l eg   o f   t he   a rm   r est   w ill   r un   t hrough   t he   l eg   o f   t he    
arm   r est,   t he   s eat   b ottom   a nd   t he   b ottom   o f   t he   c hair   b ack.   T his   s hould   p ush    
the   3   ½ "   c arriage   b olt   i n   t he   c hair   b ack   a nd   s eat   b ottom   o ut   ( which   w as   i nserted   i n   s tep   1 ).    
 
b. Repeat   s teps   2   a nd   3   o n   t he   o pposite   s ide   a nd   t ighten.   U se   h ammer  
to   s et   c arriage   b olts.   N ext   u se   ½ "   r atchet   t o   t ighten   a ll   b olts   w ith   a  
washer   a nd   l ocking   n ut.
