NOTE: All currently programmed and new remotes must be reprogrammed
to vehicle. Please have all remotes in hand at time of programming.
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1:
Insert key into ignition and turn to key on, engine off.
NOTE: Programming can be affected by voltage fluctuation. Ensure battery
voltage of 12.6VDC is maintained throughout this entire procedure.
STEP 2:
Insert programmer into the vehicle' s OBD-II port. This port is typically located
underneath the dashboard below the steering wheel.
STEP 3:
Once the programmer is inserted, wait for the programmer to chime followed by
a red flashing light on the programmer. This will indicate that the unit is ready to
program the first remote.
STEP 4:
While the light is flashing, press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the
remote simultaneously for five seconds, then release and immediately press and
hold the unlock button until the programmer or vehicle responds with a chime
(approximately one second), buzzer, or the door locks lock and unlock, followed by a
one time flash of green. Release the unlock button.
STEP 5:
To program additional remotes, wait for the light to begin flashing red again and
repeat Step 4. All remotes (new and existing) must be reprogrammed during this
sequence.
STEP 6:
Remove programmer when all remotes have been programmed (up to four total).
