10. MAINTENANCE & TROUBLESHOOTING

Regular inspection and cleaning reduces the necessity for maintenance operations and will keep

your tool in good working condition.

The motor must be correctly ventilated during tool operation. Avoid blocking the air inlets and

vacuum the ventilation slots regularly.

Note: Remove the battery pack before carrying out adjustment, servicing or maintenance.

Problem

Saw does not work.

Blade does not locate.

Possible Cause

Flat battery.

Check blade retaining

mechanism.

Swarf in retaining

mechanism.

Remedy

Re-charge battery.

Remove blade, fully open

retaining mechanism and

re-insert blade.

Clean inside retaining

mechanism with

cleaning fluid.
