Short Guide for Calibration of pH corrected Q45H62 chlorine monitor
This guide is intended for use for routine calibration only. If problems during calibration occur please consult the
full O&M manual. Main thing to remember is to calibrate the pH using 2 standards prior to calibrating the chlorine
(only when the correction is turned ON).
General
To calibrate the Q45H62 Residual Chlorine Monitor with pH correction turned ON you will need:
1. pH buffers. Ideally pH 4 and pH 7. On applications with pH 7+ use buffers 7 and 10.
2. Method of determining the level of residual chlorine, e.g. Hach colorimeter or Palin test.
3. Chlorinated water 0.100ppm+ for calibration (this minimum is required due to potential error of dpd test.
