removing the trigger.
1. Disconnect air supply.
2. Remove rubber grommet (A) from end of dowel pin (B),
figure 2.
3. Remove dowel pin.
4. Remove trigger assembly by pulling down and away from
handle.
Trigger Installation
Always disconnect air supply before
W RNING
installing the trigger.
1. Disconnect air supply.
2. Select either the "sequential" fire trigger (Grey) or "bump"
fire trigger (Red) to be installed on the tool. Both triggers
are included in the tool packaging.
NOTE: When installing the sequential trigger, ensure that
the inner trigger lever (C) is in its correct position, as
shown in figure 3.
3. Insert the trigger subassembly into trigger pocket.
4. Ensure that trigger spring (D) is secure around the trigger
valve stem (E) and resting on the tigger lever (C).
5. Align the holes of the trigger with the housing holes (F),
then insert the dowel pin (B) through the entire assembly.
6. Push the rubber grommet (A) onto the end of the dowel
pin.
If the tool is not used with an in-line lubrication system on
the air supply it is necessary to periodically lubricate the tool
with air tool lubricant.
Under low use, lubricate once a day. Under heavy use,
lubricate twice a day. To lubricate, insert 2-3 drops of
lubricant into the air supply fitting attached to the tool
handle, see figure 4. Using to much oil will cause it to collect
in the tool and be noticeable in the exhaust.
Use only the air tool lubricants supplied
W RNING
with the tool or specified by BOSCH. Do
not use other lubricants as they may damage the tool.
Do not use detergent oil, WD-40, transmission fluid, motor
oil, or other lubricants not specifically designated as air tool
lubricants. These lubricants will cause accelerated wear to
the seals, o-rings, and bumpers in the tool, resulting in poor
tool performance and frequent maintenance.
BOSCH recommended lubricants: 10W Pneumatic Tool Oil,
Fuchs Air Lube 10W/NR.
