The Nutripure
®
Sanitary Conditioner design has been carefully conceived to provide germicidal ultraviolet exposure for air
disinfection. The treated air is used in the headspace of liquid storage tanks helping to prevent condensation. The dosage, as it
applies to ultraviolet disinfection, is a function of time, and the intensity, of ultraviolet radiation, to which the air is exposed. The
exposure time, in seconds, is the total time it takes the air to move through the ultraviolet field, produced by the germicidal lamp(s).
Exposure time is related to the airflow rate; the higher the airflow, the lower the exposure time or the lower the airflow, the higher
the exposure time.
The operation of the Nutripure
1. Air is drawn into the sanitary conditioner through the electrostatic filter or pre-filter.
2. Air is forced into the exposure chamber, where it is irradiated by the germicidal ultraviolet lamp(s).
3. Sight glass provides positive indication of germicidal lamp(s) operation
4. On models with a HEPA Absolute Filter, the irradiated air is then forced through the filter which removes more than 99.97%
of particles as small as 0.3 microns.
5. The purified air is circulated through the head space of the tank, keeping the air temperature inside the tank consistent with
the air temperature outside the tank, helping to reduce condensation.
6. Air is exhausted out of tank through a filtered tank vent.
