22. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.

23. Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water is boiling. Scalding

may occur if the lid is removed during the boiling.

24. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

– Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments,

– Farmhouses,

– By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments,

– Bed and breakfast type environments.

25. The appliance must not be immersed in water or other liquid.

26. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.

27. The appliance is only to be used with the base stand provided.

28. CAUTION: Ensure the appliance is switched off before removing it from its

stand.

29. CAUTION: Do not operate the kettle on an inclined plane. Do not operate the

kettle unless the element is fully immersed. Do not move while the kettle is

switched ON.

agents when cleaning, use a soft cloth and a mild detergent.
