Types of filters
By using the right combination of filters, you ensure an optimal
dust extraction .
Combination filters:
•
The G4 coarse dust cassette filter ensures that the coarse
dust is collected .
•
The F7 bag filter and F9 fine dust cassette filter ensure that
the that the finer dust is collected . To install the F7 and F9
filter, we recommend installing a G4 filter first .
•
The HEPA filter traps more and smaller dust particles . Before
placing the HEPA filter, the G4 and F9 cassette filter is always
required .
Filters that can be used without other filters
•
The carbon cassette filter can be used for all kinds of odor
control .
•
The paint stop filter can be used for collection of paint mist
and dust .
When you notice a decrease in power, it is likely that the filters are
saturated . These should then be replaced .
Once the filters are full, airflow will be severely reduced .
The filter box system is a secondary air cleaner, and does not
require an inspection as is required for extraction
directly at the source . The filter box is not a replacement for
extraction directly at source and is not recommended for this
purpose .
It is important that you wear your PPE when changing the filters .
A saturated filter should be disposed of as construction waste .
Placing the filters
The direction of the airflow is indicated both on the filterbox and
the filters . It is important that the filters are placed so that the
arrow corresponds with the arrow on the filterbox .
