IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

■

The solar lights are attached to a roof gutter in order to illu-

minate the area around the house. Their battery charges up

in daylight via the solar panel. This stored energy allows the

LEDs to glow in the dark.

■

The product is designed for private use and is not intended for

commercial use. Only use it as described in these instructions.

Any other use is deemed improper.

■

Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts

at repair are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to

normal wear and tear.

■

Risk of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from

children and animals.

■

The product is not a toy! Keep children and animals away from

the product to avoid injury.

■

Do not look directly into the light emitted by the LEDs. It is very

bright. Your eyes could be injured.

■

Do not disassemble the product. Only have the product re-

paired by a qualiﬁ ed workshop or by customer service.

■

If the rechargeable battery leaks, make sure that the battery

acid does not come into contact with your skin, eyes and mu-

cous membranes. In the event of contact with the battery acid,

rinse the affected areas immediately with plenty of clean water

and consult a physician as soon as possible.

■

Rechargeable batteries must not be disassembled, disposed

of in ﬁ re, immersed in liquids or short circuited.

■

Do not use the product if it is damaged.

■

Never submerge the product in water or other liquids! It is only

splash-proof.

■

In extreme weather conditions (e.g. heavy rain, storm, hail) or

when the product is not in use, keep it in a protected area.

■

Do not put up the light with solar panel in the shade (e.g. not

below treetops). If possible, it should be able to receive direct

sunlight all day long.

■

To enable automatic activation of the LED lights, the product

should not be situated near other light sources such as street

lamps or other lamps.

■

Make sure that the solar panel is clean so that the greatest

possible absorption of light is guaranteed. You should there-

fore clean it with a damp cloth from time to time. Do not use

any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the arti-

cle! They could damage the surface.

Use

Before the LEDs can light up, the battery of the light with solar

panel need to be charged up for around 6 – 8 hours depending

on the angle of the sunlight.

1. Unpack the items supplied and remove all possible protective

ﬁ lms (e.g. from the solar panel) and stickers. Check all parts for

possible transport damage. If you ﬁ nd any transport damage,

contact the customer service department immediately.

4. Tighten the locking screw until the light is held ﬁ rmly in place.

It must not wobble.

5. You can also attach the rest of the lights in the same way.

6. Pull out the protective strip next to the LEDs of the light with

solar panel to activate the battery.

7. To activate the light with solar panel slide the ON / OFF switch

to ON.

This causes the battery to charge up via the solar panel in

daylight. As long as light hits the solar panel, the LEDs remain

switched off. When darkness sets in, the LEDs of all lights

switch on in dimmed mode. If the motion sensor records a

movement, the power of the LEDs increases. They then beam

brightly for approx. 30 seconds.

8. To switch off the lights entirely, slide the ON / OFF switch to the

OFF position.

Disposal

The packaging material is recyclable. Please dispose of it

in an environmentally friendly manner and take it to a recy-

cling centre.

Dispose of the article in an environmentally friendly manner.

The article should not be disposed of in the normal domes-

tic waste. Please dispose of it at a recycling centre for used

electrical and electronic devices. You can obtain more infor-

mation from your local authorities.

Non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries should be

removed before the article is disposed of and should be dis-

posed of separately from the article. To protect the environ-

ment, non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries may

not be disposed of with normal household waste, but must

be taken to suitable collection points. Note the relevant stat-

utory regulations governing the disposal of batteries.

Opening the battery compartment: Press the catch for the battery

compartment and pull off the cover at the same time.
