Assembly Diagram
XV Basement Sheet Metal Installation Instructions
1 - Install Shaker Handle on stove using 2-5/16"
x 1" bolts, 2-5/16" lock washers and nuts
(included).
2 - Install Sheet Metal Brackets on back corners
of furnace using 4 #14x3/4" self tapping screws
(included).
3 - Install left side sheet metal on furnace. First,
slide 2.5" hole over shaker handle then insert
front bend of sheet metal into left front sheet
metal brackets of furnace. Then put 2 #14x3/4"
screws (included) into the 2-1/4" holes on side of
sheet metal and screw into sheet metal bracket
at back of furnace.
4 - Install right side sheet metal on furnace. First
slide front bend of sheet metal into sheet metal
brackets on front right side of furnace. Then put
16 - #14 x 3/4"

Basement Model
Anthra-Max Safety Plaque
Safety plaque must be installed
on back of stove. Install as
shown at left. Use the predrilled
holes on back sheet metal and
the 4 - #8 x 1/2" screws that are
provided with plaque.

2 #14x3/4" screws (included) into the 2-1/4"
holes on side of sheet metal and screw into
sheet metal bracket at back of furnace.
5 - Install back sheet metal. Line up sheet metal
holes on each side with holes on right and left
side sheet metal and screw together with 8
#14x3/4" self tapping screws (included).
6 - Fasten shaker handle to shaker grate flat in
bottom of furnace inside ash door with 3/8"x1"
bolt and 1-3/8" locknut (included). 3/8"x1" bolt will
be located in hole on shaker grate flat in bottom
of furnace.
Use 16 #14x3/4" self tapping screws (included)
to install sheet metal kit.
