1. Locating the NT9010DMK
Choose a location close to a telephone outlet. The phone
cables provided are 6ft long.
2. Wiring the Phone Cables and AC (see Diagram 1)
Pull out the drawer to access the opening in the bot-

tom of the Desk Stand.
Run the phone cable(s) and the AC wire from back to

front through the opening in the Desk Stand.
Connect the AC wires to the two terminals labeled as
C
AC.
Connect the red wire of the phone cable to the RING
D
terminal and green wire to the TIP terminal on the
Desk Stand.
If you wish to connect a telephone to the Envoy, take
the second phone cable provided and connect the red
wire of the cable to the R1 terminal and the green
wire to the T1 terminal on the Desk Stand. This will
provide telephone line seizure if you are on the phone
connected to the system and an alarm occurs.
Push the phone cable(s) and the AC wire into the wir-

ing channels on the bottom of the Desk Stand.
3. Mounting the Desk Stand to the NT9010 (see
Diagrams 2, 3 & 4)
Remove the Wall Mount plate from the NT9010 by follow-

ing steps in
Remove the plastic screw from the backplate.

Insert a flathead screwdriver into the slots and

twist to release the backplate
Pull the backplate away from the Envoy and remove

the posts.
Insert the 2 round posts of the desk stand into the back of
NT9010 as shown in step
With the back of the Desk Stand facing you, push down on
the Desk Stand with your thumbs as shown in step
Diagram 4
, until you hear two clicks. The Desk Stand will
now be properly secured to the NT9010.
NOTE:
Please make sure that the battery is connected
before completing this step.
Once this is completed and the unit is in its desired loca-
tion, plug the phone cable connected to TIP and RING into
the wall outlet and connect the other phone cable to the
telephone (if applicable).
Now that the unit is set up, apply AC power, set up devices,
and complete all programming as described in the NT9010
manuals.

Removing the Desk Stand from the unit
(see Diagram 5)
Unplug the AC transformer and phone cable(s).
Take the mounted NT9010 and stand it in its upright posi-
tion.
Grab the portion of the Desk Stand that is pointing
upwards.
Pull the Desk Stand upward to release the catches that hold
the Desk Stand to the NT9010.
Pull the Desk Stand away from the NT9010 and remove the
Desk Stand posts from the NT9010.

Limited Warranty
Digital Security Controls Ltd. warrants that for a period of 12 months from the date of
purchase, the product shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship under
normal use and that in fulfilment of any breach of such warranty, Digital Security Con-
trols Ltd. shall, at its option, repair or replace the defective equipment upon return of
the equipment to its repair depot. This warranty applies only to defects in parts and
workmanship and not to damage incurred in shipping or handling, or damage due to
causes beyond the control of Digital Security Controls Ltd. such as lightning, exces-
sive voltage, mechanical shock, water damage, or damage arising out of abuse, alter-
ation or improper application of the equipment.
The foregoing warranty shall apply only to the original buyer, and is and shall be in
lieu of any and all other warranties, whether expressed or implied and of all other
obligations or liabilities on the part of Digital Security Controls Ltd. Digital Security
Controls Ltd. neither assumes, nor authorizes any other person purporting to act on
its behalf to modify or to change this warranty, nor to assume for it any other war-
ranty or liability concerning this product.
In no event shall Digital Security Controls Ltd. be liable for any direct, indirect or con-
sequential damages, loss of anticipated profits, loss of time or any other losses
incurred by the buyer in connection with the purchase, installation or operation or
failure of this product.
Warning
: Digital Security Controls Ltd. recommends that the entire system be
completely tested on a regular basis. However, despite frequent testing, and due to,
but not limited to, criminal tampering or electrical disruption, it is possible for this
product to fail to perform as expected.
Important Information

ment.
