TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
The floodlight does not go on.
The floodlight flashes.
The floodlight goes on for no
reason.
The floodlight shines
continuously.
Possible cause
The switch is switched off.
The cable is loose.
The motion detector is
misaligned.
Discharged battery.
Heat reflected from objects can
activate the motion detector.
The motion detector is reacting
to moving objects, e.g. trees,
traffic, etc.
The switch is in the II (ON)
position.
Heat reflected from objects can
activate the motion detector.
Action
Put the switch in the II (ON) or I
(AUTO) position.
Connect the cable properly to
the floodlight.
Adjust the motion detector to
that it covers the required area.
Put the switch in the Off
position and allow the solar
panel to charge in direct
sunlight for 8–12 hours before
using it again.
Adjust the motion detector.
Adjust the motion detector.
Put the switch in the I (AUTO)
position.
