Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning the sensors
Through the banknotes and settling dust deposits will occur on the sensors of the machine. These leads to increased non-
detections of genuine banknotes.
Therefore clean periodically the sensors of CCE 315 BASE. Turn off the machine when cleaning the unit in
general and unplug the power supply.
With special cleaning towels for banknote counters you can easily and reliably clean the sensors. These cloths are placed as a
banknote into the machine and then transported manually by turning the Feeder rollers in the hopper area through the machine.
The deposit on the sensors is removed from the towel. Use the towels from both sides several times during a cleaning process.
With a compressed air spray (without LPG) you can clean the transport way of the banknotes from contamination from both
the Hopper and from the Feeder side.
To clean the housing we recommend a soft cotton cloth. Do not use liquids to clean the machine!
