FRONTPANEL
The front panel of the Prometheus power amplifier
incorporates with a small panel filled with two switches.
These switches control the day to day function of the amplifier.
The operation of this two switches is like following:
MAIN SWITCH ( right side )
This heavy duty rocker switch is at the right side
of this panel and switched the mains / line power of the
amplifier ON or OFF. The illuminated ( blue / red ) front logo show
you the mode in what the amplifier works actual. When the logo
shinning blue ( green ) , the amplifier is in OPERATION - MODE,
when the logo shinning red - the amp is in the STAND - BY MODE.
When you switch ON the amp - its not important what direction stay
the STAND BY switch its time.
An internal "automatic time delay" over 1 minutes spend after switch
ON the amp at first the heating voltage for all tubes and after 1 min.
the plate voltage too. You can watch its procedure on the illuminated
front panel. At first start red shinning periode and after 1 min. change
the light from red to blue and then the amp works.
It is not good practice to repeatedly active this switch ON and OFF
rapidly, same for the STAND - BY switch.
STAND - BY SWITCH.
This switch on the left of the front panel alters the mode between
STAND BY or OPERATION of the amplifier. Switch up is
OPERATION - mode ( you see the blue illuminated front logo )
and switch down is the STAND BY mode ( the front glass logo want
be red illuminated ).
When you switch ON the power main switch, its STAND BY switch
can stay in position what want.
Never leave your tube amp unobserved in Operation mode
