3. Connect the supplied 4" aluminum flex tubing to the end of the
dryer vent and secure using aluminum tape or screws.
4a. If the dryer vent is mounted above the height of the base of the
firebox, let the open end of the aluminum tube hang uncon-
nected, near the floor.
DO NOT CONNECT OPEN END TO THE FIREPLACE. See FIG 13
4b. If the dryer vent is mounted on an exterior wall, and is located
below the height of the fireplace base, then connect the alumi-
num tube to the side-mount air manifold on the firebox. FIG 14.
WARNING: COMBUSTION AIR SUPPLY DUCTS SHOULD NEVER
TERMINATE IN ATTIC SPACES
