Problem
Fitting leak
Drain saddle leak
Pre-filter sump leak
Water runs too slowly
from the faucet or slows
down substantially a
few seconds after the
faucet is opened
High noise
Auto shut-off valve is

Cause
Tube is not joined tightly Remove and rejoin the tube
Drain saddle is not in-
stalled
properly
O-ring seal is missing or
misaligned
Housing is not joined
tightly
Pre-filter cartridges are
clogged
Membrane is clogged
A tube is kinked
Pressure tank is deflated
Air in the auto shut off
valve
Water supply pressure
too high
Pressure surges in water
mains
Solution
Reinstall drain saddle as
described in paragraph 4.2
in this manual
Check that the O-ring seal
is properly aligned in the
groove inside sump
Tighten the housing till snug
Replace pre-filter cartridges
Replace the membrane
Straighten the tube
Pressure in the empty tank
should be 0.4-0.6 bar (6-9
psi). Charge the tank to the
above pressure
The problem will remedy
itself after a while in
operation.
Check your water supply
pressure. If necessary, install
a pressure gauge or
contact a specialist
Install a check valve on the
main pipe in your kitchen or
at the point of entry of your
home's water supply. Con-
tact a specialist
