Disc Gang Adjustment:
Disc gangs are designed to run 1/2" to 1" shallower than
the cultivator sweeps. At this depth, the sweeps are
allowed to work in firm ground which improves trash
flow.
1) Adjust the depth gauge to read +1/2" to +1". Do not
run the disc or coulter gangs in the RED ZONE.
Disc blades should only be ran in the RED ZONE when
using 18" blades that are nearing the end of their wear
life.
Adjusting The Depth Stop:
1) Lower the machine to the desired working depth and
set the depth stop at the front of the machine to ensure
consistent depth every pass.
adjustment is necessary, one full turn of the depth stop
handle is equivalent to 1/4" of depth.
Spike Drag Setting:
If the spike drag attachment is present, start with five
chain links hanging from the bottom drag arm slot (this is

On the spike drag, one of the links in the first row of
angles is turned over to allow trash to start flowing eas-
