Ensure that the tractor horsepower meets the minimum
requirement for the implement being pulled. This is
important so that the implement can work as efficiently
as possible.
1) Connect the Short Disk to the tractor using a locking
style pin. Ensure that the safety lights and chain are
hooked up.
Great Plains hydraulic hoses have colored coded han-
dle grips to help hook up hoses to the tractor remotes.
Hoses with the same color use the same remote.
2) Use the following table to assist with hooking up the
hydraulic hoses.

Tire Inflation Chart:
1) Inflate all tires using the following chart:

Hitch Turnbuckle Adjustment:
For front to rear leveling, either extend or shorten the
tongue turnbuckle. During field operation, if a mound
appears in the center of the machine, the hitch turn-
buckle needs shortened to raise the rear gangs. If a val-
ley appears in the center of the machine, the hitch
turnbuckle needs to be lengthened to raise the front
gang.
Note: If equipped with hydraulic leveling, initially set the
fore/aft gauge to "D" before adjusting the hitch.
1) Loosen the jam nut (1) with the provided turnbuckle
wrench located on the backside of the hitch.
2) Adjust the turnbuckle at either adjustment nuts (2)
until the machine is level front to back.
3) Re-tighten the jam nut.
