Intended Use and Limitations
• This cane is a walking aid and is not
intended to support the full weight of the user
• It is not intended for use on ice or other slippery surfaces
and will not stand alone on uneven surfaces or plush carpets
Safety Precautions
• This product should not be used without
proper instruction from a healthcare
professional
• DO NOT use unless individual
segments are securely joined together
and push button is fully engaged
• DO NOT use if elastic cord is damaged
• When assembling segments, keep fingers
away to avoid being pinched
• DO NOT over stretch
• DO NOT use cane if handle or
base are loose or damaged
• Applying downward
pressure on the base
while lifting up on the
handle can cause the cane
segments to separate and the cane to collapse
• Inspect carefully before each use
Set Up Instructions
• Remove cane from packaging
• Unfold cane and ensure that cane segments are securely joined
To Adjust Height
• Loosen locking collar by twisting clockwise
• Depress push button and slide lower section
upward or downward to desired height
• Secure locking collar by turning counterclockwise until tight
WARNING: Before use, ensure that the push button protrudes fully
through adjustment hole and that locking collar is securely tightened
Maintenance
Check elastic cord before every use. DO NOT use cane if cord is cut,
frayed or damaged. Periodically check the tip for wear or damage.
Replace as needed. Prior to each use, ensure push button and locking
collar are secure and functioning properly.
