Nano - Mechanical Digital Tilt Sensor
The TS-1 is a Hi-tech achievement in three-dimensional movement sensing technology. Using
digital nano technology the TS-1 is the most advanced tilt sensor available for the protection of
wheels on a vehicle. This sensor requires no adjustment and memorizes the angle of the vehicle
when the system is armed. It will then trigger if the vehicle is jacked up or lifted to be towed and
is sensitive to less then 1 degree of tilt. It is the ultimate for tire and custom wheel protection and
comes with a multi use bracket for ease of installation. Until now, the only way to detect jacking
up of the vehicle for towing or theft of the wheels was through unreliable mercury or mechanical
pendulum switches. These can best be categorized not merely as "low-tech" but rather as "no-
tech" sensors, since they are extremely prone to both false alarms and widely fluctuating
sensitivity due to temperature changes. These primitive sensors also required that the vehicle be
parked on a level surface. In contrast, your new Digital Tilt Sensor is truly a leading-edge, state-
of-the-art electronic device that integrates in one microchip nano-mechanics and a digital signal
processing (DSP) microprocessor to instantly and continually analyze all pitch, yaw and motion
data. The result is a tilt sensor that, regardless of the conditions, precisely detects less than one
degree of lifting or any minute motion of the vehicle while completely ignoring all other conditions
that can cause false alarms in other sensors. Even if you park your vehicle on the steepest hill,
the remarkable Digital Tilt Sensor will accurately respond to the first hint of tilting, motion or other
tampering to reliably protect your vehicle better than any other tilt sensor, bar none. The artificial
intelligence electronics of your Digital Tilt Sensor are continually self-adjusting, so there is never
any need for sensitivity adjustments.
Installation:
1. Find a suitable rigid and flat mounting location inside the passenger compartment that is
horizontal or vertical (it does not need to be perfectly level). Use the provided multi use bracket to
secure the sensor to a stable object. Do not attach to carpet or other soft material. Avoid placing
directly on or near heating or air conditioning vents. Ideal locations include on a flat under-dash
brace, the metal Kick panel or any other stable non-moving object under the dash.
2. Attach the sensor by using the supplied multi use bracket (see diagram)
3. Wire the sensor as shown in diagram. But please be sure when the system is armed, the
YELLOW wire should go to ground.
4. Test by arming the system, waiting for the LED to turn off and then slowly jack up the vehicle.
Do this on both sides, and from both the front and rear. The sensor should trigger about 5
seconds after the vehicle has tilted at least one degree.
5. There is a 2-pin connector on the PCB for programming the Sensitivity.
a.) Leaving the jumper on the 2-pin connector is default at Low Sensitivity. Pre-warning will be
activated at 1degree and warning will be activated at1.5 degree. This is suitable for most
applications
b.) When the jumper is removed from the 2-pin connector the unit is programmed to High
Sensitivity.
Pre-warning will be activated at 0.6 degree and Warning will be activated at 0.9 degree.
