In many cases, using your new High-Tech SOUND BARRIER will induce an
immediate response from your pet and training is automatic. However, the unit is
designed to assist you in training your dog or cat by providing a consistent training
stimulus. It will also automatically reinforce your training when you are not
present. In most cases, however, you must undertake a persistent training
program with your pet.
1. Place the alarm unit in the desired location.
2. Escort your pet into the restricted area.
3. When you hear the alarm sound, immediately escort your pet from the
restricted area along with a stern verbal "NO!"
This should be repeated at least ten times per training session and these sessions
should continue for several days or weeks until your pet responds by leaving the
area on its own.
You will find that even in the toughest of cases, use of the High Tech SOUND
BARRIER will reduce training time and provide persistent and automatic
reinforcement.
