DVN CAB E product information

The cable set is required for all Mercedes vehicles of the E-class (W211) series 2002-2009, SLK

(R171) 2004-2011 and CLS (C219) 2004-2010, where the electronic unit (e.g. amplifier) is located

in the trunk.

1. Cable routing

We recommend routing the cable harness on the left-hand side of the vehicle to the front and

leading it up at right angles to the centre console in front of the left-hand front seat.

Connections in the trunk on the amplifier:

Unplug the 14-pin connector for speakers, the 4-pin connector for power and the antenna

connector from the electronics unit (amongst others amplifier) and connect to both connectors of

the 17004 cable set. Then connect the antenna line (water-blue Fakra antenna connector).

The white loose cables are required for connecting the subwoofers (if available).

Here an additional amplifier is necessary. Connect the individual white cables to the outputs of an

additional amplifier as follows:

Pin 1: Subwoofer 1 plus,

Pin 3: Subwoofer 2 plus,

Pin 2: Subwoofer 1 minus,

Pin 4: Subwoofer 2 minus,
