SPECIAL SAFETY NOTES
16. The baking surfaces get very hot. Touch the handles only.
17. Put the unit down onto a heat-resistant surface or mat.
18. In order to prevent heat from building up, do not put the unit directly
underneath a cupboard. Ensure that there is enough space all around.
19. Beware of steam coming out when you open the baking section.
20. The bread can burn, so never use the sandwich toaster near or below curtains
and other inflammable materials!
21. A risk of fire and electrical shock exists in all electrical appliances and may
cause personal injury or death. Please follow all safety instructions.
22. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacture or its
service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
23. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is
operating.
24. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
25. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
BEFORE USING YOUR APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
Clean the plates using a damp sponge rinse and dry carefully.
After applying a fine coating oil to the plates , close the appliance and plug it in.
The indicator light will come on.
Allow it to heat up for several minutes to get rid of the new smell.
