WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE COMPOSTER IS FULL?
After 4 weeks the anaerobic (i.e. oxygenless) composting system and Speedy Compost spray will
produce a compost known as digestate.
What is digestate?
This refers to 'recovered' residue or waste left behind after the methanation of organic waste. Digestate
consists of surplus bacteria, non-decomposed organic substances and mineralised substances. It can
be used as a valuable compost.
