5.7 Error Code Indicator
Getting error codes on your Avantrek Bike is not something you want to see. Sometimes an error code could mean a loose wire, or other times a sensor could be
damaged. Use the error code chart below to find out what the error on your LCD display means.
Below are the most common errors on Avantrek Bikes:

6. Safety Notes
The Avantrek eBike LCD display is only for use with a compatible Avantrek Bike model.
Always switch off all power at the main bike battery before disconnecting or reconnecting the LCD display.
Take particular care to lineup the male connector plug of the display with the female plug on the bike. Check for the orientation arrows on each part and use
minimal force.
Position the display so that cables and connectors are not subjected to any strain, even when your handlebars are adjusted for riding or during.
Never attempt to dismantle the display
Do not use you bike with power until any error code had been remedied.

Error
The controller's current sensor has become disconnected or damaged. Contact tech support.
Throttle may be damaged. Check the throttle cable for damage.
At least one of the motor's phase wire has been disconnected or damaged.
At least one of the motor's hall sensor wires has been disconnected or damaged. Disconnect
and reconnect the motor cable.
Unplug brake pads, and to check each brake, restart the bike. If the error remains, try a new
controller after unplugging the brakes.
Poor connection between the controller and the display. Check all cable connection. Check
for corrosion damage.
