3. Make sure the bench stands level and straight (with
the legs 90 to the floor), then tighten all bolts (AA)
and nuts (CC). To avoid cracking of the wood slats (D)
and the beveled wood slat (E), do not overtighten. Once
the bolts (AA) and nuts (CC) have been tightened, attach
the safety cap nuts (DD) over the nuts (CC) installed in
step 1.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
This furniture is made with an old world,traditional handcrafted look.The variations in color
and slight bends in the wood are characteristic of the single item production technique and
are not to be considered a defect.Likewise,slight pinholes will be present in the metal
casting that is customary to handcrafted original ironwork. These irregularities enhance the
individuality of the furniture and should not be considered defects.
The wood slats are covered with a clear protective coating that may show signs of light
peeling which is normal and can be sanded off.Periodically apply a wood preservative or
water sealer to keep your wood slats looking new and to prevent weathering.Sand off the
clear protective coating before applying the wood preservative or water sealer.Constant
exposure to sunlight and outdoor elements will cause rapid deterioration of any wood finish;
therefore,it may be necessary to frequently apply a wood preservative.
The powder -coated cast iron frame and back insert can be treated with a good quality car wax to
enhance and protect the finish. Should the powder-coated finish get scratched down to the metal
surface, cover the scratched area with an enamel paint as soon as possible to prevent rust.
Check and tighten bolts periodically.
ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
This warranty is extended to the original purchaser and applies to defects in materials and
workmanship of your patio furniture,provided your furniture is maintained with care and used only
for personal,residential purposes.
Frames are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of one(1)year.
Exclusions: Items used for commerical,contract or other non-residential purposes,display models,
items purchased "as is,"or items damaged due to acts of nature,vandalism,misuse or improper
assembly are not covered.Discoloration or fading of the finish or wood slats as a result of exposure
to the elements, chemicals or spills are not covered. Tabletop breakage, corrosion or rusting of hardware and
damages to frames or welds caused by improper assembly,misuse or natural causes are not covered.
If within the stated warranty period a product is found to be defective in material or workmanship,the
purchaser must contact the manufacturer's customer service department at 1-800-643-0067.The
manufacturer,at its option,will repair or replace the defective parts.
