Replacing the Blades :

Problem
Motor does not start
Motor switches off

Always replace blades in pairs and only use the

original GARDENA Blade Set.
The GARDENA Blade Set can be ordered indicating
the type of device from GARDENA Service.
1. Press the red OFF switch
and unplug the mains plug.

2. Turn the knob
anticlockwise
until the housing cover
released.
3. Lift the housing cover
The housing cover is help
up by a rod.
4. Turn the blade disk
both flat-head bolts
be seen through the holes.
5. Loosen both flat-head bolts
one after the other using a Torx insert T30.
Loosening the bolts through the two holes prevents the blade
disk from turning.

Possible cause
No mains voltage because
fuse is defective.
Power cable defective.
Housing cover not mounted
properly. Circuit breaker is
active (off).
Blockage protection activated to
constant overload or blockage

Collection container is over-full
(cutting tool blocked).
Blades are blunt.
Repairs to the electrical component must only be carried
out by GARDENA Service or an authorised specialist
dealer.

v Install new fuse.
v Check power cable /
replace power cable.
Close housing cover
and tighten knob
v After the removing blockage
and waiting until the cooling-
down time has elapsed, the
motor can be restarted.
v Add harder branches.
v Empty the collection
container.
v Rotate blades or install new
blades.
