Setting Up Your Watch

To take full advantage of the D2 Air X10 features,
complete these tasks.
• Pair the watch with your phone using the Garmin

Aviation Settings

Aviation Units: Sets the units of measure used for aviation
data.
Altimeter Settings & Alerts: Allows you to configure the
barometric altimeter and alert settings.
Fuel Tank Reminder: Sets an alarm to sound after a
specific number of minutes and displays a message to
check the fuel tank gauges.
Favorite Airport: Allows you view waypoint and METAR
information for your favorite airport on the default
watch face and aviation glances.

Setting the Altitude Alert

You can set an alarm to vibrate when you reach a
specified altitude.

Altitude Alert > Status > On.
3 Select Altitude > Alert Threshold.
4 Enter an altitude.

Setting the Low Oxygen Alert

You can set an alarm to vibrate when you reach a low

NOTE: The low oxygen alert is not available in watch
mode.

Alert > Status > On.
3 Select Altitude > Alert Threshold.
4 Enter an altitude.

Setting the Barometric Pressure

You can set the current barometric pressure manually or
to the pressure at the nearest airport. Manually adjusting
the barometric pressure can help to improve the accuracy
of the pressure altitude reading.

> Aviation > Altimeter Settings & Alerts >
Barometer.
3 Select an option:
• To set the barometric pressure to the nearest
airport, select METAR.
• To set the barometric pressure manually, select
Manual, and enter a barometric correction value.

Setting the Fuel Tank Reminder

You can set an alarm to sound and display a message
reminding you to check the fuel tank gauges.
NOTE: The fuel tank reminder is available only during a

flying activity.

Selecting a Favorite Airport
When you select a favorite airport, you can view the
waypoint and METAR information for it on the default
watch face and aviation glances.

3 Select an option:
• To search for an airport by its identifier, select Enter
Ident., enter all or part of the alphanumeric identifier,
and press
.
• To search for an airport near you, select Nearest,
and wait while the watch locates satellites.
• To select an airport from your flight plan, select
Flight Plan.
A list of airports appears.
4 Select an airport.
Flying Activity
A flying activity starts automatically when your detected
climb rate exceeds the value you set in the auto fly
settings. The default auto fly value is 200 fpm.
Flying
