Operating Instructions
Rinse aid
Rinse aid ensures thorough rinsing and spot and streak free drying of
dishes and glassware.
Rinse aid can be added in one of two ways:
• If you are using dishwasher detergent that already contains rinse aid,
the detergent including the rinse aid is put into the detergent com-
partment.
– In this case the dispensing of rinse aid from the dispenser must be
deactivated to avoid a double dosage.
• If you are using dishwasher detergent and rinse aid separately, the
rinse aid is put into the rinse aid dispenser.
– In this case the dispensing of rinse aid from the dispenser must be
activated.
– The amount of rinse aid to be dispensed must be set.
Only use branded rinse aid specifically designed for dishwashers. Never

fill the rinse aid container with any other substance (e.g. concentrated
vinegar) or dishwasher detergent. This would damage the appliance.
Activating/deactivating the inflow of rinse aid
Some appliances are equipped with an additional 3 in 1 function.

If you are using 3-in-1 dishwashing tablets and select the 3 in 1 func-
tion together with the wash programme, the inflow of rinse aid does
not have to be deactivated (see "3 in 1 function").
1. Press the ON/OFF button.

The ON/OFF button's LED will illuminate.
If other indicators are also illuminated, this means that a wash pro-

gramme has been started. The wash programme must be cancelled
(RESET):
Press function buttons 2 and 3 simultaneously for approx. 2 seconds.
All other indicators will go out.
2. Press function buttons 2 and 3 simultaneously and keep them
pressed.
The LED indicators for function buttons 1 to 3 will flash.
3. Press function button 2 again.
The LED indicator for function button 2 will flash.
