Installing the Compact Flash Card

This supplement explains how you install the Compact Flash card in your system.

Please observe the safety information in the manual, referring to

Chapter "Removing and installing components during servicing" (LIFEBOOK) and

Chapter "System enhancements" (ESPRIMO).

That is how you install the Compact Flash card in your LIFEBOOK.

Note: You do not require the 3 1/2 inchdrive adapter which has been supplied.

►

Remove the hard disk as described in the manual ("Removing and installing the hard disk").

►

Insert the Flash card in the adapter.

►

Screw the adapter with the Flash card into the hard disk fixture (only LIFEBOOK E780).

►

Insert the adapter with the Flash card into the hard disk compartment.

►

Slide the adapter with the Flash card in the direction of the arrows until the contacts engage.

►

Conclude the installation process as described in the manual ("Removing and installing the

hard disk").
